Juventus defender Patrice Evra is ‘certain’ to remain in Italy until the end of the season, his agent revealed.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a return to the Old Trafford where he spent eight successful years. There are reports that Jose Mourinho wants to add the 35-year-old to his backroom staff at the Old Trafford and United legend, Rio Ferdinand also hinted Evra could stage a comeback with a social media post suggesting the move could be on.
However, his agent Federico Pastorello has now opened up on the rumours, saying: ‘It’s not certain he will leave Juventus,’
‘We’ll see what happens over the next few days.’
Evra will be out of contract at the end of the season and could like the fact of returning to the Old Trafford. Jose Mourinho has also set his sights on bolstering his squad with defensive reinforcements but claimed he will not be pushing for a move for Victor Lindelof.
