Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed Alexis Sanchez’s fury at the end of their 3-3 draw with Bournemouth was due to the result.
The Chilean star was visibly angered after the game against Cherries as he threw his gloves down in despair and stormed the dressing room where it was reported that he did not speak with his teammates.
However, the Gunners boss has come out to calm reports that Sanchez is not happy at the club and might leave as he continues to stall on renewing a new contract at the Emirates.
The French boss said: ‘They care as much as he does, don’t worry, everybody has his way. The players were frustrated. There was no celebration in the dressing room; everybody was disappointed that they didn’t win the game.
‘There is no hierarchy of intensity or desire to win at that level. Everybody wants to win.’
French striker Olivier Giroud was criticised for showing off his pre rehearsed celebration depicting his scorpion kick when he scored a last minute equaliser for the Gunners, instead of returning for kick off and try find a winner.
