Senior Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who was almost arrested last night by DSS Operatives in Ekiti state, has threatened that if he spends one day with security operatives, the damage that will happen to Nigeria will take one year to repair.

According to him, he has churches in 42 countries and he has alerted them. He says if he is arrested, the Nigerian embassies in those countries will suffer for it.

"If I spend one day with security operatives, I have churches in 42 countries and I have alerted them. Every Nigerian embassy in those countries will be in trouble. If I spend one day with the security operatives, the damage that will happen in Nigeria will take one year to repair. In this country alone, I have over half a million and there are reactions already" he said

34-year-old Jay Bowdy tragically took his life while streaming on Facebook Live, according to several reports.

The budding actor appeared in a handful of films and television shows.

It’s unclear what exactly prompted his decision, but in a letter written to her late friend, a woman named Ruthlyn announced he had committed suicide.

“I feel like I have failed you as a friend and for that I am truly sorry. In the time we spent together, there were some true heart to hearts,” she wrote.

The letter continues, “I’m not one to express much, but I feel the need to because my heart is so heavy.  My open letter to you. Though I haven’t known you long, we built a relationship that was strong. I’m sitting here looking through our last text messages and trying to figure out where I went wrong, what I missed, what I could have done differently to have been there for you in your time of need.”

“I will try to remember the good times we spent together and I will always remember our laughs and your smile.  I pray that you are resting peacefully.  I’m sorry I wasn’t there. The last text you sent to me was, “Be great friend” and I promise you that I will… for you and for me.”

At the end of his Facebook Live video, Jay talked about having his first child when he was 18 years old and getting married when he was 25. He and his wife welcomed four children together and he also had two kids from a previous relationship.

2017 UTME:JAMB,NECO,WASSCE,NABTEB Harmonise Exam Time-Table

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday said it has agreed on a harmonised time-table with other examination bodies ahead of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).The decision, the board said, would lead to a hitch free examination.The board at a brainstorming meeting with the National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Business and Technical Examination (NABTEB) held at JAMB’s headquarters in Abuja unanimously agreed to harmonise the examination timetable because of the candidates’ desire for qualitative tertiary education.The Spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a statement late on Tuesday night in Abuja, said the harmonised examination timetable had put to rest problems arising from overlapping of examination dates which would have disenfranchised a sizeable number of candidates from writing the examination.“At the end of the brainstorming session, the bodies resolved that WAEC would speak to all its authorities that from 2018, between March and April, for a window of two weeks be created where all other examinations that have nothing to do withNigeria will be held so as to allow a window for JAMB to conduct its examination,” the statement said.According to the statement, the examination bodies agreed that for the purpose of the 2017 UTME, JAMB would shift its examinations to allow students face WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.“However, a 10-day window for JAMB’S UTME has been created by all examinationbodies for JAMB to conduct its examination. In view of this, JAMB will soon announce the commencement of sale of the 2017/2018 admission forms for UTME and Direct Entry (DE).“JAMB emphasises the fact that whoever is presently collecting any money in the name of JAMB form should be reported to the police or any other security agency as fraudster,” the statement added.

A baby in India was born with four legs and two genitals.

His mother described him as a gift from god and said that she will take him to another hospital for more care.

However after speaking with professionals she has decided to raise her boy as is.

The young mother has stated: "My first son, born three years ago, is healthy. We are poor and cannot afford expensive treatment."

Doctors hope that surgery can give the chance of a normal life

Dr Virupaksha, the doctor that made the difficult delivery succesful, has stated that he spoke to a team of surgeons and they all decided that the baby required advanced treatment. He stated: “I spoke to the surgeons there on Sunday, and they told me that the baby was being kept under observation. I hope the baby becomes normal.”

After consulting with the doctor the four legged baby’s mother said: “The doctors and members of my family advised me to take the baby to VIMS for advanced treatment. Now, I am hoping he becomes normal.”

Another surgeon from VIMS stated: “A team of surgeons is looking into the baby’s condition. It is a very challenging case for us.”

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has directed the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to investigate why the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria Reality Show is being shot in SouthAfrica.In a statement in Abuja on Tuesday, Lai Mohammed said the NBC should determine whether Multi-Choice, by shooting the show in South Africa, has breached the Nigerian Broadcasting Code in any way, as well as the issue of possibledeceit, since the viewing public was never told that the event would be staged outside Nigeria.''As a country of laws, only the outcome of the investigation will determine our next line of action,'' he said.Lai Mohammed said while concerned Nigerians have bombarded his office with calls to complain about what they regard as an anomaly (of shooting outside the country a show meant for Nigerians), they should remain calm while the NBC investigates the issue and submits its findings.
